Design Notes: This design is a parody of Britain’s Keep Calm motto. The Keep Calm slogan was designed with the intent to raise the morale of the British public. The Ministry of Information, a department formed by the British Government, was assigned this task. The poster was printed on the eve of WWII and was to be displayed across the British Isles, but was never distributed.
